This page is intended as an educational resource

The information shared here reflects some of the most common therapies, modalities, and approaches discussed within the Lyme community.  The content is intended to educate and does not necessarily represent the therapies, products, or approaches I use or recommend.

My hope is that these resources help you get curious, ask questions, explore your options, and become more confident in being your own advocate.

Looking for specific recommendations?  To make things easier, I've gathered links to some of the tools and resources mentioned on this page in My Toolbox

This Does Not Mean You Experienced Abuse

We all Carry physical or emotional trauma.  It doesn't always mean you've experienced physical or emotional abuse.  Chronic illness, loss, accidents, surgeries, difficult life experiences, and prolonged stress can all leave a lasting impact on the body.  For some people, addressing these unresolved experiences becomes an important piece of the healing puzzle.

Counseling / Therapy: Individual counseling • Trauma-informed therapy • Talk therapy

Note: Looking for a therapist that takes your insurance? Rula is a free therapist-matching service that helps connect people with licensed therapists based on their needs, including trauma, chronic illness, EMDR, and more.

EMDR:  Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing • Trauma processing

Past Life Regression:  A guided technique that explores subconscious memories and for some, past-life experiences to help uncover and process emotional patterns.

The Body Keeps the Score (book): Explores how trauma can affect both the brain and body, and why healing involves more than just the mind.

The Emotion Code (book): Explores the concept of trapped emotions and how unresolved emotional experiences may continue to affect our heath and well-being.

Note: This is one of my favorite books, and I believe everyone navigating Lyme should read it.
