Welcome to Lyme and Beyond with Tanya

This is a space where lived experience meets deep compassion, and no one has to navigate their journey alone.

After a 13-year battle with Lyme disease and co-infections, I understand firsthand the challenges, frustrations, and isolation that can come with chronic illness.

What began as unexplained symptoms eventually led to seven years of searching for answers and the proper diagnosis. During that time, I became bedridden, required a caregiver, and experienced severe cognitive symptoms to the point that I didn't know my own name.

After six years of treatment and healing, I regained my health. 

Today, I am fully well and have remained well for years.

My journey took me from undiagnosed, to bedridden, to thriving—and it completely changed the course of my life. Along the way, I learned that healing is rarely about one test, one doctor, or one treatment. It often requires education, persistence, self-advocacy, and a willingness to look beyond conventional answers.

My mission has been to freely share what I've learned so that someone else might spend a lot less, suffer a lot less, and feel a lot less alone.
